Karen’s Family
Dear old friends and photography are some of my favorite things in life- I’m so glad I recently got to mix the two, on Asilomar Beach no less! I’m proud to say that Erin and I have been friends for more than 20 years! It’s hard to imagine that much time has passed. She and her sisters Kathleen and Kristine, and her mom Karen (as well as all the guys and kids, of course) are just the greatest, and I look forward to watching the little ones grow over the next 20 years. Now that will be amazing!
Sun & Sand at Lover’s Point
I had the pleasure of photographing little Camille and her mom Sarah when Camille was just a baby. This time, dad, Rich, and big brother Colin also took part! It was a chilly morning, but the sun eventually warmed us before we finished the session, then the family headed out for pancakes and hot chocolate. The kids had definitely earned it.
Kande, Rob, Kieran, & Cora
I lost count of the number times we had to reschedule this photo session. It was at least 4 times, a record for me. Every time we picked a date- it rained. It rained and rained and rained. I was starting to think that our meeting was not meant to be. But, oh what a beautiful family I would have missed if we had given up. And they were definitely worth the wait.
Sweet Ellie
It was mid-September and fall was just beginning, but it looked like spring when I met with Connie her husband Brian, their daughter Ellie, and Connie’s twin sister Laura. We went to the botanical gardens at Tilden Park in Berkeley where there were lots of fun nooks and crannies to shoot, including the redwood grove that reminded Brian of his roots in the Northwest. They are such a beautiful family- and couldn’t Connie and Laura be models? Oh that’s right, they said they had dabbled in it together at one time. It’s easy to see why.
